How we choose houses
We are a booking company, not a listings site. Nobody can post a property here but us, and we only offer houses we have sourced ourselves.
We spoke to the owner
Every house on this site is one we contacted directly and agreed a rate for. Nobody uploads a listing here but us — there is no open sign-up, so there is no queue of properties we have never spoken to.
We hold the booking, not you
You book with Bounty Escapes and pay Bounty Escapes. We confirm the house and settle the owner ourselves. If something goes wrong you have one company to call, and it is the company that took your money.
The photographs are of the house
We use images the owner supplied for their own property, or ones we took. If we have not seen a recent photograph of something, we say so rather than dressing the listing with stock imagery.
The address stays private until you book
The exact location is released once your booking is confirmed — never on the public page. That protects the house and everyone staying in it.
What we do not claim
We are not an inspection service and we do not issue certificates. We have not necessarily visited every house in person, we do not audit title deeds, and we cannot guarantee matters outside anyone’s control — weather, power cuts, or a road that floods in April.
We would rather be plain about that than imply a level of scrutiny we do not perform. What we do promise is that a real person at this company chose the house, agreed the price, and is answerable to you for the booking.
If a house is not as described
Tell us immediately, while you are still there. Because you booked and paid through us rather than the owner, sorting it out is our job, not a negotiation you have to have with a stranger in a language that may not be yours. We would rather move you than argue with you.
