Prohibited Bounties Policy

What you may not post or ask people to do on Bounty Desk Africa. Breaking these rules gets a bounty rejected and can get an account banned.

Illegal and harmful activity

No bounty may involve anything illegal in Kenya or the participant's country, fraud, scams, or deception of any kind.

Prohibited: fake reviews or ratings, vote or engagement manipulation, spam, harassment, discrimination, adult or sexual exploitation, harmful or dangerous challenges, and financial deception.

Identity, credentials and account abuse

No task may request passwords, PINs, OTPs, or any private credential — Bounty Desk Africa staff and businesses will never ask for these.

Prohibited: credential theft or phishing, renting or selling accounts, using fake or stolen identities, and impersonation.

Money and financial safety

No bounty may require a participant to send money to an unknown party, pay a fee to take part, or make 'guaranteed income' claims that mislead people about earnings.

All legitimate payouts flow through Bounty Desk Africa via M-Pesa. If a task asks you to pay first, report it.

Platform-specific rules

Social-media tasks must follow the target platform's rules and, where required, disclose that the content is part of a campaign.

Reddit tasks must follow subreddit rules; purchased or manipulated upvotes are not rewarded.

Content must be original — copied or repeatedly reused submissions are blocked and flagged.

How we enforce this

During launch, every business bounty is reviewed by our team before it is published. Platform bounties are posted by Bounty Desk Africa directly.

Every bounty and submission has a Report option. Reports are reviewed, and disputed amounts are frozen — never auto-paid or auto-refunded — until a human decides.

Accounts that repeatedly break these rules are risk-flagged and can be frozen or banned.
